I am a registered and professional counsellor with many years’ experience supporting people with a variety of different issues through training, workshops, consultancy and counselling.
I provide a warm, welcoming and confidential space. My hope is to create trust and safety for you to look at the issues you need to bring. We start where you want to start. See what others think of me.
My aim is to work alongside you and to be someone to listen to what is going on for you; I am non-judgemental and accepting of any issue you bring.
As a counsellor my role is not to find the answers for you as I fully believe we have the answers within ourselves but may need support to find them.
My being there with you can help to support you on your journey of self-discovery and awareness. Sometimes this can be challenging and you may need direction with this.
I am happy to work with the many different parts of each of ourselves; the parts we like and the parts we find more difficult to accept and welcome them into the therapy room.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethical Framework and am fully insured.
I have a Counselling Diploma in Professional Studies from the University of the West of England and have trained with trauma specialist Babette Rothschild.
As well as my private practice I work at the Southmead Project and at Penny Brohn UK and have worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years.
You can find me listed on the Counselling Directory and on UK Small Business Directory
